About the Author

I'm passionate about developing and delivering technical solutions to improve processes and process outcomes. If that sounds like I'm interested in a lot of things - you've got the right idea.

My career has spanned engineering, consulting, and management. I started in a mechanical engineering role that quickly turned into systems development as I transformed a culture of hundred-gigabyte spreadsheets into one of databases, code, and - eventually - fully automated data pipelines.

In parallel, I pursued a career as an officer in the National Guard, which first brought me into the world of cybersecurity. Following the career progression offered by new skillsets, I took a string of jobs ending in a cybersecurity consulting role, where I deliver both advisory services - such as Data Security program assessment and strategy creation - and technical services, such as custom integration development for enterprise and security platforms like ServiceNow, Salesforce, OneTrust, BigID, a variety of SIEMs, and more. I have also found myself the creator and maintainer of multiple private cloud infrastructures as a result of my professional responsibilities and personal interests.
